SMX Services & Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to oversee and support their IT infrastructure. The role is instrumental in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of IT operations while leading a geographically distributed team.

Responsibilities

Lead and guide the IT infrastructure team geographically with a high-performance, teamwork-based culture

Oversee the deployment, setup, and management of Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and Active Directory environments

Handle and optimize HPE GreenLake solutions for scalable, flexible IT infrastructure services

Administer and set up Fortinet firewalls to give security and network integrity

Develop and enforce network strategies with high availability and security

Keep skills and implement best practices in IT Service Management (ITSM)

Collaborate with stakeholders to transform business specifications into technological solutions

Manage vendors and service providers relationships for quality services

Manage infrastructure projects, from design through implementation, to finish on time and under budget

Required

Strong experience of managing complex IT teams and infrastructure within highly dynamic environments

Technical knowledge base in: HPE GreenLake cloud and hybrid solutions

Windows Server administration

Fortinet firewall configuration and management

Active Directory of architecture and management

Linux Red Hat management

In-depth configuration and fundamentals in networking

IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices and strong frameworks knowledge

Demonstrated leadership abilities with a history of successful management of diverse, multi-site teams

Strong verbal communications, emotional intelligence, and adaptability in an agile, evolving company culture

Skills to effectively operate in highly dynamic environments with flexible thinking

Must be able to manage change well and lead teams through relentless transformation

Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly required

Preferred

Fortinet, Microsoft, Linux, or Cloud solution-related certifications

History of working in high-growth or highly dynamic companies

Able to lead change and lead continuous improvement initiatives
