Legal Administrative Assistant

Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing is an American multinational technology company seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join its Legal Support Team for a 12-month engagement. The role involves performing a range of paraprofessional duties to support attorneys and ensure the smooth operation of legal processes.

Law Practice

Responsibilities

Maintains the confidential treatment of documents, communications, and sensitive information
Works with various stakeholders and online databases to gather and organize legal documents and other key information for legal proceedings
Works with outside counsel to meet the document demands of legal proceedings
Responds to and processes correspondence that may include administrative and technical data in the form of a draft or the finished final document
Maintains files according to records management specifications and follows up with key due dates
Maintains legal documents utilizing an electronic filing system
Drafts routine and periodically complex communications for review and final sign-off by management or attorneys in the organization
Organizes, prioritizes, and maintains workflow to meet and support the department requirements
Takes accurate messages, records, retrieves, and relays information
Research and summarize data from a variety of sources to maintain security guidelines

Required

Minimum 3 years of legal support or administrative office experience
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies
Accountability: Able to take responsibility for all work activities and personal actions
Attention to Communication: The ability to ensure that information is available to others who should be kept informed
Diagnostic Information Gathering: The ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation, seek that information from appropriate resources, and use skillful questioning to draw out the information needed to complete assignments
Thoroughness: Ensuring that one's own and others' work and information are complete, accurate, and meet a satisfactory standard, as well as careful preparation for meetings and presentations, is evident in work efforts

Preferred

Associate degree in Paralegal Studies and Paralegal/Legal Assistant certification preferred
