Responsibilities

Create programs for computer‑controlled machines using engineering drawings and models
Analyze drawings to select machines, machining strategies, probes, and develop work‑holding concepts
Support the shop floor by troubleshooting issues and providing time estimates for new parts
Research, test, and implement new inspection technology to improve processes

Required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access
The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance
Candidate should have a combination of experience and education equivalent to one of the following: 5 years machining programming experience plus bachelor's degree, 7 years machining programming experience plus associates degree, or 9 years machining programming experience

Preferred

Experience programming Zeiss CMM's using Calypso software
Experience with Zeiss Inspect for CT scanning or Structured Light Scanning is a plus
Ability to design fixturing / work holding solutions
Experience evaluating new designs and working with engineering to improve part inspectability
Experience leading the development and implementation of new processes
