Delta Galil Industries is a global manufacturer and marketer of Private Label apparel products. The Senior Financial Analyst of Retail will be responsible for partnering with the retail team to manage forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, while also analyzing sales and operational performance.

Responsibilities

Create annual budgets and rolling annual forecasts at the store level

Monitor and develop store-level KPI (ex: sales per square foot, traffic, labor productivity)

Partner with Retail Operations to forecast and analyze labor hours and costs, and identify areas for improvement

Partner with division heads to review past month’s sales performance and discuss future forecast in monthly conference calls

Track capex requests and actual build costs for new/refurbished stored

Create monthly and quarterly Financial projection reports by store with sales, margin and expense analysis for Delta’s senior management

Review lease agreements and amendments, ensure accuracy of forecast

Prepare monthly presentation documents, cost change analysis, etc

Other Ad-hoc analysis as required to provide relevant insight

Compare actual financial results against previously month’s forecast and budget, and explain variances

Required

Minimum 5 years experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial reporting

Must have experience in the retail/fashion space

Strong financial modeling skills experience

High level of proficiency in Excel; reporting tools such as PowerBI is ideal

Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks

Strong organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail

Familiarity with journal entries and general ledger reconciliation

Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate in a matrix environment

Team player and problem solver in a demanding deadline driven environment

Excellent written and verbal communication
