Responsibilities
Collaborate with other teams to help our self-driving vehicles in ambiguous or complex situations
Prototype and deploy safe, and reliable solutions to real-world challenges in autonomous driving
Work with our users, the Fleet Response Operations team
Work on mission-critical systems and infrastructure to support Waymo's fleet
Have the opportunity to work on the full length and range of the problem (web apps, distributed systems, and data analysis)
Qualification
Required
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
A generalist mindset, willing to learn a breadth of new skills
Comfortable with C++ and Typescript
Preferred
Industry experience with Web Applications
Familiar with distributed systems
Able to communicate effectively with non-technical collaborators
