The Manufacturing Assembler is responsible for assembling complex wire harnesses and mechanical components by interpreting drawings, using manual and automatic tools, and adhering to industry and in-house standards.

Responsibilities
Learn and apply assembly tools and techniques effectively
Read and interpret technical drawings accurately
Use hand and automatic crimp tools
Install boots, markers, Expando, sleeving, and wrap-around markers
Measure wire lengths using calipers, scales, and tape measures
Operate heat guns with correct settings for shrink applications
Perform soldering using traditional and resistive soldering tools
Participate in ongoing on-the-job training to improve skills, accuracy, and efficiency
Build wire harnesses and mechanical assemblies according to print
Crimp, strip, and handle various wires and components using hand tools
Follow all drawing requirements, general and flag notes, travelers, and work instructions
Comply with workmanship standards (IPC-620, J-STD-001, TE.04-03—training provided if needed)
Document work accurately and completely in production travelers
Qualification
Required
Soldering experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents
Familiarity with basic hand tools and measuring instruments
Willingness to participate in training and learn specialized techniques
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Able to work in a team environment
Must be authorized to work in the U.S
Preferred
Previous experience in cable or wire harness assembly
Knowledge of IPC-620 or J-STD-001 standards
