The Automotive Transmission Dyno Test Technician will be responsible for installing and operating various automotive components for testing, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that testing requirements are met.

Responsibilities
Installation of transmissions, transmission components, axles or exhaust components onto various test rigs
Operation of durability and performance test stands
Monitoring of ongoing tests
Troubleshooting setup and operational issues related to transmission or axle testing
Work with requesters to meet all testing requirements using written and verbal methods of communication
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Knowledge of and/or experience with engine, transmission, axle and exhaust components and their functions
Computer experience (MS suite; word, excel, power point, etc)
Basic hand tool usage
Must complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, health performance evaluation, and background check
Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers
Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written
Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to self or others
Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner
Dependable personal transportation to work site is required
Preferred
Associate in Automotive Technology or related field of study
Engine or transmission related testing
Basic understanding of instrumentation
