Responsibilities
Set up Dynatrace environments for LOB-aligned teams, ensuring proper governance, tagging, and Management Zones
Configure dashboards, alerts, and integrations to meet both business and technical requirements
Leverage Monitoring as Code to improve standardisation
Configure service flows, distributed traces, and code-level visibility for critical applications
Ensure accurate detection of services and dependencies for full-stack observability
Serve as the single point of technical contact for Markets Application Production Services and SRE-aligned teams
Provide expert guidance and hands-on support for monitoring implementations
Work closely with SRE and application support teams to deliver performance reports, share actionable insights, and advise on proactive monitoring strategies
Promote observability best practices across development and operations teams
Partner with development teams to instrument applications and push custom metrics/dimensions via Dynatrace APIs
Provide structured knowledge transfer sessions and maintain up-to-date documentation, including runbooks and configuration standards
Ensure LOB teams can operate and extend observability independently post-engagement
Configure Dynatrace Extensions to achieve full observability across infrastructure, services, and third-party components
Develop custom extensions where necessary to close monitoring gaps and integrate non-standard technologies
Qualification
Required
Experience in configuring and setting up Dynatrace
Ability to design and configure monitoring environments
Experience in setting up Dynatrace environments for LOB-aligned teams
Knowledge of governance, tagging, and Management Zones in Dynatrace
Experience in configuring dashboards, alerts, and integrations
Ability to leverage Monitoring as Code for standardisation
Experience in configuring service flows, distributed traces, and code-level visibility
Knowledge of full-stack observability and accurate detection of services and dependencies
Ability to act as a technical point of contact for Markets Application Production Services and SRE-aligned teams
Expertise in providing guidance and hands-on support for monitoring implementations
Experience collaborating with SRE and application support teams
Ability to deliver performance reports and share actionable insights
Knowledge of proactive monitoring strategies and observability best practices
Experience in partnering with development teams to instrument applications
Ability to push custom metrics/dimensions via Dynatrace APIs
