Responsibilities
Cultivate a productive working relationship with our largest customer, and align our product plans to their business growth
Build detailed product requirements that capture the technical requirements from customers, to drive clarity with engineering and architecture teams
Ideate with CTO office, Architecture team on the cutting edge solutions that only strategic customers are pursuing, and how to evolve WEKA’s product portfolio to lead in the future
Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap and intersect this with the customer direction and Customer Success teams for specific milestones, ensuring that it reflects the evolving needs of your customer - both tactical and strategic/directional
Dive deep into competitive technologies - to form an early point of view on WEKA’s differentiation into the future
Working with teams across geographies and business units
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in outbound customer focused product management within our industry, with a deep understanding of network-based storage systems
Familiarity with the intricacies of high-performance distributed systems
Demonstrated ability to drive the development of innovative and forward-thinking solutions
Strong leadership skills with a history of successfully leading cross-functional teams
Ability to inspire, motivate and align a high performing team to achieve ambitious goals while maintaining a collaborative and positive working environment
A strategic thinker who can develop and execute product strategies that align with market trends and customer needs
Proven ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans and deliver results
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience presenting product strategies and roadmaps to internal teams and external customers
Minimum of 6-10 years of progressive experience in product management or customer facing solutions role with a focus on storage, analytics or AI products
Experience working with customers on large scale data infrastructure implementations - and associated considerations for Performance, Serviceability, High Availability, Disaster Recovery and ever evolving compute requirements
Understanding of NVME Flash based storage technologies
Familiarity with drive performance characteristics (IOPS, throughput, latency)
Demonstrable understanding of GPU-centric use cases for RDMA technologies (InfiniBand, RoCE), GPUDirect Storage integration
Familiarity with network buffer management and zero-copy data paths, NUMA topology, and CPU affinity optimization
Excellent listening, oral, and written communication/presentation skills with a strong ability to influence people at all levels and in various functions
Familiarity with Jira and Github for organizing product input, structure boards with R&D
