The Critical Intervention Specialist will support individuals in crisis through management and planning, while collaborating with various professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management

Develop a Stabilization Plan and Case Review

Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist

Participate in a hotline rotation to address acute crisis calls

Participate in clinical trainings

Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings

Qualification

Master’s Degree in PsychologyHuman Services experienceDevelopmentally Disabled experienceCrisis managementInterdisciplinary collaboration

Required

Must hold a Master's Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Sociology, or other related Psychological fields

Experience in the human services field required

Must have a California Driver's license in good standing and insurance

Applicants must live in close proximity to or in the catchment area (which includes the following counties (Santa Clara, Santa Cruz counties)
