Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to grow sales of PVD/evaporation tools in North America and/or global markets
Identify, qualify, and pursue new customers and market segments (e.g., foundries, OEMs, research labs, universities)
Build strong technical and commercial relationships with key stakeholders including engineers, scientists, and procurement teams
Understand customer application needs and align them with product capabilities and value propositions
Collaborate with product management, engineering, and service teams to define customer-driven features and solutions
Lead technical sales discussions and presentations; support customer evaluations and proposal development
Track market trends, competitor activity, and technology roadmaps to shape growth strategies
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand visibility and build networks
Deliver accurate forecasts, pipeline tracking, and performance reporting
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
Minimum 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or product management within the semiconductor equipment industry
Proven ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions to a broad audience
Strong network within compound semiconductor, R&D, or photonics sectors is highly desirable
Self-starter with excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to travel up to 30–50% as needed (domestic and occasional international)

Preferred

Knowledge of vacuum science, thin film deposition processes, and cleanroom environments
Experience working with global cross-functional teams
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipeline management (e.g., Salesforce)
