Responsibilities
Familiarity with and utilization of department standards
Assisting in developing engineering and/or construction schedules
Assisting in producing Level 1, 2, or 3 estimates
Assisting in monitoring project costs and producing spreadsheets and reports, for various projects
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master of Science degree program for Building Science, Engineering or a related degree at an accredited university is required
GPA: 2.7 or above
Familiarity with construction standards and codes
Familiarity with construction estimating and contract administration
Working knowledge of Primavera P6 software
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
