Dear Media is seeking a full-time Sales & Brand Partnerships Associate with proven experience in digital media sales. The role is responsible for generating revenue through proactive outreach, managing brand and agency relationships, and building a pipeline of branded partnerships across Dear Media’s talent roster.

Responsibilities

Leverage relationships with brands and agency contacts for deal flow and target revenue quotas
Proactively pitch Dear Media talent and programming to partners, securing branded content campaigns
Respond to RFPs and develop strategic media plans that span podcasts, social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), live events, blogs, and other channels
Lead the full sales process: from proposal development to negotiation and contract execution
Manage a personal sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue goals
Collaborate with internal teams across marketing, talent, and production to ensure seamless execution of campaigns
Build pitch materials and tailor sales decks to effectively showcase Dear Media’s network and talent offerings
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and new monetization opportunities
Work towards annual and quarterly sales goal metrics

Required

4-5+ years of experience in a sales-focused role with a track record of meeting revenue targets
Proven expertise in pitching custom integrated content partnerships
Must be proactive, resourceful, efficient and have a rolodex of contacts ranging from brand/client direct, advertising/experiential agencies, media and PR companies across relevant categories
Deep understanding of planning cycles, industry trends, and 360 campaigns
Experience negotiating deals and responding to RFP's
Proven ability to set and exceed performance goals
Demonstrated success monetizing creators across platforms including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, podcasts, and blogs
Familiarity working directly with media agencies and brand partners
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Must be based in Los Angeles, Austin or New York City

Strong understanding of media buying cycles and digital advertising trends
Creative thinker with the ability to pitch and position talent in a compelling way
Superior communication, writing and verbal skills with an ability to consult with management
Proactive, detail-oriented, and extremely organized to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Confidence and ability to negotiate deals and understand deal memos between talent and brands
Creative thinker who can brainstorm innovative ideas/strategies
Positive attitude and strong social skills in speaking to talent and brands
Enthusiastic about the creator economy, digital media, and the podcasting landscape
