Responsibilities
Support Launch Vehicle Processing of the Artemis Launch Vehicles at Kennedy Space Center
Perform flight hardware assembly operations, and testing and validations of flight and ground systems
Work to detailed instructions and schematics to perform work in all aspects of flight hardware
Participate in training requirements to obtain all necessary certifications to perform assembly work
Follow work instructions, interpret engineer drawing and follow stringent work area rules and safety protocols
Demonstrate moderate level of proficiency in mechanical or electrical technical operations
Communicate ideas in writing and verbal communication accurately
Travel to support position requirements
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of related experience (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent technical training
Ability to follow work instructions and interpret engineering drawings
Excellent communication skills
Moderate level of proficiency in mechanical or electrical technical operations
Experience in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to pass SCAPE physical and maintain a security clearance
Ability to work weekends and off-shifts if required
Dependable and punctual
Ability to travel to support position requirements
Must comply with all 'drug free workplace' requirements
Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere
