RTG Director, Development-Facility Advisory Services (Nashville)

The Director of Development - Facility Advisory Services is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team focused on evaluating healthcare facilities' physical conditions and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while also supporting strategic capital planning and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

National leader and promoter of all aspects of facility advisory services
Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting of building systems and infrastructure
Develop and maintain assessment criteria and methodologies aligned with industry best practices
Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory changes and implications for facility operations
Facilitate compliance with ADA, OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission, CMS, and other applicable standards
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage audits and inspections
Develop long-term capital improvement plans and facilities master plans
Manage projects and teams responsible for facility activation
Deliver client Board-level presentations and attend executive-level meetings
Oversee assessors, engineers, and other compliance professionals
Key involvement and facilitation of service line and company-wide business development efforts

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Sciences, or related field
Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in facility condition assessments, regulatory compliance, or facilities management
Strong knowledge of building systems, construction standards, and regulatory frameworks
Proven leadership experience with cross-functional teams
Ability to work both independently and within a professional team environment

Preferred

Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Sciences, or related field
