They are seeking a self-motivated Sr. Manager of Business Development to lead a team, negotiate agreements with CPG partners, and forge partnerships that drive growth for manufacturers and their advertising partners.

Responsibilities

Lead a team, negotiate agreements on behalf of the company with our CPG partners

Manage a team that will be tasked to deliver on the defined revenue targets for Shipt’s CPG accounts

Identify, contact and establish relationships with new and existing partners and respective decision makers at CPG manufacturers

Negotiate and manage master services agreements that enable robust CPG partnerships

Develop insights-led sales partner meetings to convey the value of partnering together to reach members

Collaborate with cross-functional Shipt teams to maximize the partnership capabilities in the pre-sale process

Work with direct reports on monthly, quarterly and annual planning and budgeting processes based on existing and new partner feedback

Required

1 year experience leading teams

strong negotiation skills

strong sales acumen and a proven self-starter mindset

demonstrated high level of initiative and organization, with the ability to be resilient and adaptable

ability to communicate advertising and technology functions effectively, verbally and in writing (including comfort with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office)

prior experience working in CPG, market research, retail, advertising or marketing technology, consulting, agency or software and technology

BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

willingness to travel 50%+ of the time

Preferred

7 years of industry experience; CPG and sales experience preferred
