TEM Imaging Technician (Night Shift)

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is a leader in advanced semiconductor technology, and they are seeking a Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) Imaging Technician. In this role, you will operate TEM tools for sample imaging, provide measurements, and collaborate with teams to enhance sample quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Follow SOP and job instructions

Operate TEM tools of various models to provide timely and high quality BF and STEM images

Provide accurate automated or manual measurements of critical dimensions based on customer demands

Learn new techniques, such as EDX mapping, and process knowledge to improve analysis capability and quality

Strive for output and efficiency improvement to help the team achieve TAT and capa goals

Collaborate closely with prep team to provide feedback for sample quality improvement and coordinate efforts on urgent requests

Required

2-3 year college associate degree

Semiconductor failure analysis experience with hands on SEM and FIB operation

Able to work entire 12 hour shift and sit down for prolonged periods of time

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to details

Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

Able to use Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint & Excel

Preferred

Hands on TEM operation experience

Ability to operate Failure Analysis Equipment [FIB and SEM] independently, hands on experience on TEM is preferred
