New Grad, Entry LevelNOVA Engineering is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CMT Engineering Technician in the Fort Myers, FL metropolitan statistical area. This role involves hands-on work in construction materials testing, ensuring infrastructure quality and safety through various field duties.

Responsibilities
Collect samples from active construction sites for lab analysis
Conduct field tests such as concrete testing, nuclear density gauge readings, slump tests, and air content measurements
Observe and document construction practices to ensure compliance with project specifications
Communicate findings to project managers, engineers, and contractors
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Experience in construction materials testing, geotechnical work, or related field is a plus
Familiarity with ACI and FDOT testing procedures (certifications preferred but not required)
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in varying conditions, and travel to job sites
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred
Associate's degree or technical certification
ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I
FDOT CTQP Earthwork Level I & II
FDOT CTQP Concrete Field Technician
