Responsibilities
Lead daily field operations for utility vegetation management crews
Perform tree trimming, felling, limbing, bucking, and brush clearing
Operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and related equipment
Set up safe work zones and traffic control
Conduct daily truck, tool, and equipment inspections
Train, mentor, and oversee crew members to ensure safe and efficient work
Communicate with customers and utility representatives
Complete all required paperwork and job documentation
Qualification
Required
Minimum 12 months of line clearance or professional tree industry experience
Training completed in Groundperson and Aerial Rescue
CPR and First Aid certification
Tree Feller Training and equipment proficiency
Ability to perform physical outdoor labor for full workdays
Strong knowledge of climbing, bucket work, rigging, and ANSI Z133 safety standards
Preferred
Valid Driver's License (CDL a plus)
DOT Medical Examiner Certificate (MCSA-5876)
Experience leading or training crews
Bilingual English/Spanish
Herbicide Applicator License or ability to obtain within 90 days (company-paid)
