Bobcat Company is seeking a Tester to ensure the quality and assembly of Portable Power units according to engineering specifications. The role involves testing, inspecting, and documenting units while collaborating with Quality and Engineering teams to troubleshoot any issues.

Responsibilities

Test units to Engineering specifications

Inspect units to our Quality standards

Assure units are built correctly (to the Bill of Material)

Document information concisely and correctly

Work with Quality and Engineering in troubleshooting issues

Bring up any issues that pertain to providing our customers with world class products

Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or blueprint

Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations

Performs overtime work as required

Keeps area clean and organized

Assists in the instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor

To perform other duties that is assigned by the supervisor

Required

Must be able to follow established methods, procedures and perform work accordingly

Must have the ability to work under time pressure for extended periods of time

Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints

The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required

Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training

General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments

Candidate must possess a valid driver license
