Responsibilities
Identify and validate clients’ business needs and Salesforce application requirements
Serve as a liaison between business teams and technical teams, ensuring alignment of expectations and deliverables
Support project managers with managing the client relationship and deliverables
Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, process flows, and system changes
Work with stakeholders to define product vision and Salesforce application requirements
Attend and facilitate requirements gathering meetings with the client to identify business needs, functional and system requirements
Perform UAT and post-deployment testing to ensure accurate implementation of the needed business, functional and system requirements
Provide regular and open communication across the program and stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impediments
Understand, visualize, and manage upstream/downstream dependencies
Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity
Communicate requirements to developers, testers, and stakeholders
Demonstrate product functionality to stakeholders
Track and communicate project metrics and progress, and help manage risks and dependencies
Prioritize the features and epics on the program backlog
Write user stories and prioritize them based on the requirements
Support effective change management practices
Create Salesforce training materials and guides
Ensure Salesforce solutions are aligned with internal policies and compliance standards
Evaluate and recommend new Salesforce tools or integrations
Qualification
Required
US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government public trust clearance
Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, IT Project Manager, or in a similar role
6+ years of Salesforce experience
Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
Exceptional analytical skills and an ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Must have agile certifications
Exceptional facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated ability to break down complex requirements into actionable work items
Demonstrated ability to work with engineering and analytics teams to discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs to remove roadblocks, and evaluate new ideas
Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence
Preferred
SAFe or POPM certification preferred
Salesforce certification preferred; specifically Salesforce Business Analyst or Salesforce Administrator
