They are seeking an energetic and motivated environmental engineering intern to support various project activities, gain real-world knowledge, and work alongside experienced engineering and science staff.

Responsibilities

Work tasks will be completed in the field at active project sites and in the office

Dedication to learning applicable regulatory rules and guidance as well as company policies and procedures

Works on straightforward tasks using established procedures. All work will be subject to review by experienced engineering and science staff

Under the supervision of an experienced team member, apply engineering skills and knowledge to complete assigned tasks

Collaborate with current engineering staff in the interpretation of engineering data, conduct engineering analyses, and perform calculations and modeling utilizing appropriate software packages

Participate in field tasks including but not limited to collection of environmental samples from various media (e.g., groundwater, surface water, soil, sediment, and gas). Assistance in implementing remedial actions designed by professional engineering staff

Possess the ability to thoroughly and accurately summarize field data and present results to senior team members

Required

Attending an accredited educational institution pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related field

Preference is for candidate to have completed their Junior year in college with expected graduation in 2026

Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills

Must be a self-starter, excel in time management, and work well under pressure

Must be available to work in various settings such as in an office or remotely in the field, depending on project needs

Ability to complete 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and wear proper personal protective equipment for work on hazardous waste sites. Lifting and physical work will be required

Must be at least 18 years of age with a clean driving record

Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA with at least 60 hours of coursework completed
