Responsibilities
Proficiently write code to create analytic datasets, generate descriptive and inferential statistics, and visualizations, etc, in consultation with more senior programmers, manager, and/or study principal investigator
Work on a variety of different Flatiron data modalities, including EHR-derived real-world data, clinico-genomics data, and claims data
Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders across our medical and scientific organization to execute and deliver on client-sponsored research studies in an accurate, effective, and timely manner
Contribute to continuous improvement of Flatiron’s proprietary analytical tooling and templates
Continue to develop a deeper understanding of real-world data and related methodologies used to generate real-world evidence
Qualification
Required
You hold a Master's degree in Biostatistics/Statistics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Biological Sciences, Public Health, Math, or a closely related field, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
You are an excellent programmer in R, comfortable working with tidyverse, and have experience working in Git-based environments (e.g., Github, Gitlab)
You have experience with large healthcare-related datasets (e.g., administrative claims, electronic medical records)
You have strong organizational, time-management, prioritization and decision-making skills necessary to execute on multiple high-visibility projects in a timely fashion
You have the ability to work effectively in a constantly changing, diverse, and matrix environment
You are able to quickly learn and apply new information, skills and procedures
You are passionate about our mission to improve healthcare through technology
Preferred
You have experience working with oncology datasets
You have experience working in a pharmaceutical/HEOR consulting environment
