They are seeking a Bridge Senior Design Engineer to join their Civil engineering team, responsible for designing transportation structures and ensuring compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

Design of transportation structures including highway bridges, retaining walls, and box culverts

Preparing structural analysis and design calculations according to the applicable design codes; using computer programs as appropriate

Preparing technical reports, contract plans, and specifications, construction cost estimates and performance of on-site structural inspections, analysis and condition assessment of existing structures

Assisting with project construction administration including reviews of shop drawings and requests for information (RFI's)

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering

Actively pursuing licensure

5+ years of successful project experience within a consulting engineering firm

Experience in bridge design and inspection principles

Experience with Microstation and structural analysis design and finite element software

Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred
