Staff Engineer/Assistant Project Manager

The Staff Engineer will support overhead construction projects in New Jersey, providing engineering and construction support while ensuring project compliance and coordination between engineering and construction teams.

Responsibilities
Provide on-site engineering and construction support for overhead transmission and distribution projects
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to both engineering and construction aspect of the project
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
Monitor construction progress, addressing any issues or changes that arise in the field
Regularly report project status, challenges, and recommendations to the Project Manager and client stakeholders
Develop and maintain project reports, tracking progress and key performance metrics
Utilize Power BI or similar reporting tools to provide accurate and timely project updates to stakeholders
Travel to various project sites as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field
Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to project sites
Ability to work independently and in the field under varying site conditions
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills
