Responsibilities

Create 3D harness routes and various electro-mechanical assemblies
Generate simple wiring diagrams; understands grounding and shielding principles
Interface and coordinate between various team members including engineering, program management, production and quality
Analyze harnesses with applicable quality and reliability standards
Perform IR/DWV testing
Support production and quality assurance to clear obstacles and ensure build meets design intent
Develop BOM’s and work within ERP system for production coordination

Required

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical or related engineering
Experience with SolidWorks, CATIA, NX or similar 3D CAD software
Demonstrates ability to work autonomously with little input on requirements or management oversight
Demonstrates curiosity; engages respectfully with values
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willing to travel 20% of the time
Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance
Work Location—this role will be onsite at our Long Beach, CA or Centennial, CO locations, with travel between sites as needed
Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job
Physical demands—the physical demands of the job may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20lbs
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
