Responsibilities

Make visual/measured inspection/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements
Complete inspection records and reports and follows appropriate codes and regulations
Make visual and measured inspection of products to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements for manufacturing
May inspect incoming raw materials for the manufacturing process and follow appropriate procedures for testing raw materials

Qualification

Inspection tools proficiencyMeasuring equipment proficiencyMS Office proficiencyInspection methods knowledgeCoating techniques experienceIndustrial experienceManufacturing experienceFab Shop process experience

Required

Computer skills and basic understanding of MS Office Products
Proficient in the use of inspection tools and measuring equipment
Understand and apply inspection methods and techniques

Preferred

1 year of related barge manufacturing Fit or Weld experience
Previous experience with coating techniques and/or inspection
Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment
Previous experience in Fab Shop process
