Responsibilities

Assessment of building system efficiency & improvement identification

Reconciliation of utility bills for electricity, natural gas, and water consumption

Supervision of electricity and thermal utility billing of buildings, as well as individual commercial, office, and residential tenants

Generation of executive reports regarding energy consumption & production

Development of utility spend budgets for electricity, thermal utilities, and water

Assessment and implementation of energy management tools

Economic analysis of improvement in energy management practices

Application of analytic tools to assess and predict energy building trends

Review of relevant regulations and engagement with regulatory bodies for the development of new standards & practices

Qualification

Required

Stable employment and educational record with 3-4 years' experience in the Energy field

Must have on-site field experience evaluating buildings, including familiarity with major building systems and energy performance indicators

Strong analytic capabilities, including working knowledge of data science and proficiency with one or more relevant analytic software packages, including Excel, Stata, MATLAB, R, or Python

Must possess an understanding of building systems including, but not limited to, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, BMS, Fire & Life Safety and all related systems

Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, & specifications

Working knowledge and ability to utilize computers with software packages such as Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Project

Strong written and verbal communication skills
