Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP) is redefining veterinarian ownership by pairing exceptional doctors with the support and expertise to build successful practices. The Director of Doctor Partner Growth will spearhead the national outreach strategy, identifying veterinarians with ownership potential and guiding them into meaningful partnership conversations.

Responsibilities

Initiate authentic outreach – calls, messages, events, introductions – to warm relationships and open conversations
Introduce VPP’s ownership pathways, assess candidate motivations, and determine true fit
Become a trusted guide to prospective partners – helping them explore ownership, understand options, and visualize career transformation
Collaborate closely with our Partnership Development team to hand off vetted candidates into structured evaluation and deal-making
Represent VPP externally – at industry conferences, social platforms, etc
Work with Marketing to amplify voice, thought leadership, and referral engines
Build and refine a national pipeline of high-potential veterinarians
Research markets, hospitals, and industry movements to find aligned candidates before they raise their hands
