Responsibilities
Assist in Trade Capture & Affirmation oversight
Ensure all corporate actions & life cycle events are processed timely and accurately
Ensure OTC Derivative documentation is accurate & executed in a timely fashion
Monitor real-time PnL and investigate issues
Analyze break trends, recognize system deficiencies, diagnose root causes, and devise solutions that add efficiency and optimize our operations
Assist in developing and enhancing our internal Trading, Risk/PNL, and Static Data systems to create a best in brand Trading and Operational platform
Resolve position & cash breaks across providers and our fund administrator
Oversee & resolve unmatched or failing trades with the Prime Brokers
Coordinate with key stakeholders on financing queries, ad hoc requests, or trade breaks
Qualification
Required
3-5+ years experience in a Hedge Fund Trade Support role or Sell-Side Middle Office
Strong product knowledge across Equity Derivatives and/or Macro products
Experience in trade booking, life-cycle events, and reconciliations
Experience interfacing with Business Users, Technology Engineers/Developers, and Counterparties (i.e. Executing Dealers, Prime Brokers, Vendors, etc)
Familiarity working with a Fund Administrator
Pro-active, driven, & ability to get results
Excellent communication skills, team player and high standards of integrity
Exceptional attention to detail, ability to multi-task, takes ownership, challenges assumptions
Preferred
Specific hands-on experience integrating new technology, building out or enhancing workflows, and leveraging data/metrics to improve inhouse technology
Prior experience in a multi-strat hedge fund
Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerBI, & ChatGPT
