The Financial Eligibility and Reimbursement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating benefits and maintaining case management records while assisting participants with financial eligibility.

Responsibilities
Responsible for coordination of Medicaid (MA) and Medicare benefits with participants, families, and governing agencies
Maintain current electronic case management records, including annual MA recertifications, Skilled Nursing Facility day 31 submissions, and invoicing
Complete documentation of all visits (including episodic, routine, phone calls, home visits, etc.) against the corresponding care plan elements
Communicate participant changes to team members
Provide administrative assistance (applications, forms etc.)/community resources to participants as needed
Assist participants in successful completion of the medical assistance recertification application including submission of all relevant documentation within required timeframes to maintain financial eligibility for Senior LIFE
Keep the participant and family updated about the participant’s MA eligibility, Medicare application stats, and any changes with the participant’s financial status
Qualification
Required
Must have a driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations
Preferred
Bachelor's degree with applicable experience in Health related Field
