Responsibilities
Oversee critical infrastructure operations at Yakima Memorial Hospital
Plan, coordinate, and manage all activities of the Construction/Trades division, Operating Engineers, HVAC Technicians, Maintenance Mechanics, and Engineering Technicians
Ensure the assigned facilities are furnished with uninterrupted utility services
General maintenance of buildings (interior and exterior)
Preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and mechanical and electrical systems
Provide direct and indirect supervision of staff in assigned area
Collaborate with the Manager, Systems Sustainability and Safety and individual Subject Matter Experts to develop short- and long-term plans
Ensure the assigned areas meet all Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Five (5) years facilities experience in a healthcare setting
Experience in all trades
Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity
Consideration may be provided to internal candidates not meeting the education requirement
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. A combination of education and experience that is considered equivalent by HP is acceptable
Professional Engineering license in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred
