Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, and ASC 606 standards
Manage treasury functions including cash flow management, liquidity planning, and risk mitigation through effective treasury management practices
Direct budgeting processes, expense control initiatives, cost management strategies, and financial forecasting to optimize resource allocation
Conduct detailed financial analysis for profit & loss statements, revenue cycle management, and market analysis to inform strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and internal controls based on SOX, COSO frameworks, and other relevant regulations
Lead risk analysis efforts to identify potential financial risks related to mergers & acquisitions, supply chain disruptions, or market fluctuations; develop mitigation plans accordingly
Supervise audit processes involving governmental accounting standards and public accounting practices; coordinate with external auditors as needed
Oversee tax planning and compliance activities aligned with tax accounting principles while managing relationships with external tax advisors
Develop robust financial models to support business development initiatives and strategic planning efforts
Manage all aspects of payroll management while ensuring adherence to legal requirements and internal policies
Foster a high-performance finance team through leadership development, supervision experience, and continuous process improvement initiatives
Utilize advanced financial software tools for data analysis, reporting automation, and real-time financial monitoring to enhance operational efficiency

Required

Proven senior leadership experience as a CFO or equivalent executive role within complex organizations or non-profit entities
Extensive background in corporate finance including mergers & acquisitions, revenue management, risk analysis, and strategic planning
Deep understanding of financial concepts such as profit & loss management, cost control, expense management, and supply chain finance
Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting standards including GAAP, IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), and COSO internal controls framework
Strong knowledge of governmental accounting practices where applicable; experience with public accounting is a plus
Skilled in financial modeling, business analysis, market analysis, fiscal management, and forecasting techniques
Experience supervising teams responsible for financial report writing and interpretation along with regulatory compliance documentation
Excellent negotiation skills combined with business development acumen to foster organizational growth opportunities
Proficiency in various financial software platforms coupled with analytical skills necessary for comprehensive risk management and cost control initiatives
Master's degree in finance, Accounting or related field

Preferred

Advanced degrees or certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable
