New Grad, Entry LevelBrown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Technical Assistant to join their growing team in Tallahassee, FL. The role involves assisting in the commercial lines department to gain technical knowledge and perform various clerical functions and data entry tasks.
Insurance
Responsibilities
Assist with policy, and endorsement checking for commercial P&C accounts
Assist with the submission process, including claims analysis, updating accords, and supplemental apps
Assist with the preparation of proposals and account overviews
Assist with loss runs, MVR orders, and certificates of insurance
Perform Clerical functions including, but not limited to scanning, proofreading, and photocopying documents
Assist with entering data into applications as needed
Review, file, and assign documents/tasks into ImageRight
Accessing various carrier sites to download policy docs
Back-up the front desk as needed
Special Projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
