3+ years expOntex is seeking an Electrical & Controls Tech I to join their Production & manufacturing team. The role involves installing and repairing electrical systems, calibrating equipment, and troubleshooting wiring issues within the facility.

Responsibilities
Provide all required electronic system maintenance work, including work orders, reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance throughout the plant
Must be able to perform repairs of industrial electronic controls to the component level
Requires good troubleshooting skills and the ability to use necessary test equipment including digital multi-meter & oscilloscope
Qualification
Required
Two-year Technical Degree in Electronics or equivalent relevant work experience with a technical degree
Three years of experience repairing industrial controls to the component level
Good troubleshooting / problem solving skills
Perform component level circuit board repair
Good soldering skills
Able to work independently
Ability to work in a production environment
Proficient computer skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Good communications skills
Good at multi-tasking
Accuracy: perform tasks thoroughly and with care of details that are easy to overlook
Dealing with change: I adapt to change quickly and easily
Preferred
Technical or Industrial product knowledge a plus
