Quality Operations Specialist, Logistics

Responsibilities

Quality Program Planning and Management
Develop, calculate and report out on a variety of Quality metrics
Independently conduct process audits
Supporting Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement Process efforts
Utilizing Quality Management Systems, Records, & Data
Collaborate with and support military and commercial customers
Develop quality inspection plans for all new commercial programs to ensure compliance with quality management system
Review and approve supplier First Article Inspection (FAI)
Manage customer-related root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities to ensure timely and effective resolutions

Required

4-Yr Degree such as BS/BA in, Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, Engineering or similar
At least 2+ years' experience as a Quality Professional in the aerospace industry
Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Management System requirements
Demonstrated leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills, and comfort around management, customers, and regulatory authorities
Computer skills, including Microsoft, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc
Project Management experience managing stakeholders' needs and setting priorities
Experience with SAP, Enovia, PowerBI dashboards, 3DX, Catia 6
Experience in detail and component manufacturing, metal and composite repairs and component assembly
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, reports, procedures, and certifications

Preferred

Six Sigma Green Belt certification or some other Continuous Improvement certification
Experience with FAA 14 CFR Part 21 and 145 regulations
Prior experience with Bell Quality tools and Bell systems related to day-to-day activities
