Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day monitoring of the backhaul network
Provide helpdesk support
Create tickets within JIRA platform
Provide on-site testing and troubleshooting of handheld radio devices, and network
Monitor the system with internal proprietary tools and SolarWinds
Escalate issues and coordinate with engineering, project management and field teams
Provide daily support at the Transit Authorities operation center
Act as customer point of contact regarding any issues, requests or inquiries
Qualification
Required
Successfully completed a bachelor or master's degree in telecommunications, IT, or engineering
Previous internship experience within IT, telecommunications, or transportation fields
Preferred
Knowledge of mission critical communication systems such as P25 or TETRA
