Responsibilities

Performing functional tests on electronic products using specialized equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) to verify functionality and meet specifications
Operating and maintaining test equipment, including calibration and repair
Assist with the planning, scheduling, and execution of tests to validate products. This includes partnering with internal and external resources to execute test plans
Identifying and resolving issues with electronic components and circuits, potentially involving soldering and rework
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, Procurement, Product Management, and Quality Assurance, to ensure project and manufacturing needs are met
Maintain and repair wiring and harnesses used in manufacturing and validation testing. Assist in creation and documentation of wiring in new systems and test setups
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test processes, methodologies, and equipment
Ensure all test strategies and equipment comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Required

Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
2-5 years of experience as an electronics technician or similar role within a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with electronic testing and circuitry
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
Familiarity with various test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to balance a customer-advocate mentality with HED business needs
Results oriented; overcomes resistance and obstacles
Strong need to deliver and meet personal and team commitments. Takes personal accountability for ensuring individual and team commitments are met

Preferred

Certification in Quality Assurance or related fields a plus
