As the AI Principal Technologist, you will serve as the senior technical leader for Enterprise AI, guiding pilots from concept to production and mentoring teams on responsible AI adoption.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the enterprise AI vision and roadmap, aligned with Fischer Homes’ business goals and risk posture

Chair the AI Steering Committee and oversee governance, compliance, and model lifecycle management

Lead the design and development of AI architectures for large-scale, secure, and cost-efficient integrations

Evaluate and onboard AI vendors and platforms, ensuring technical, legal, and financial due diligence

Drive the operationalization of AI pilots, establishing acceptance criteria, testing, canary deployments, and clean production handoffs

Establish and monitor AI performance metrics, including adoption, SLA compliance, cost management, and business impact

Mentor teams on LLMOps best practices, including model versioning, testing, monitoring, and observability

Collaborate across departments—IT, Legal, Finance, and Security—to align AI initiatives with enterprise standards

Provide executive advisement on AI investments, risks, and opportunities

Lead critical incident response for AI-related escalations and vendor outages as needed

Stay current on emerging technologies and help guide Fischer Homes’ responsible AI evolution
