Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1–2 onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and accessories
Rapidly diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues
Deliver VIP and executive‑level support with discretion, responsiveness, and professionalism
Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 and macOS systems
Support and administer Microsoft 365 services including Outlook/Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
Troubleshoot email issues including mailbox access, mail flow, Outlook configuration, mobile email, and calendaring
Assist with Microsoft 365 account lifecycle management, licensing, and permissions
Support collaboration and productivity workflows across Office applications
Support Azure AD / Entra ID user accounts, groups, access controls, and device registration
Assist with Intune device enrollment, compliance policies, and endpoint configuration
Troubleshoot authentication, MFA, and conditional access‑related issues in partnership with security teams
Manage endpoint patching, updates, and security tooling across all devices
Maintain and support printers, scanners, AV equipment, and conference room technology
Support video conferencing systems including Zoom, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and related hardware
Own onboarding and offboarding processes: workstation setup, account provisioning, access management, and equipment deployment
Provide hands‑on troubleshooting for LAN/WAN connectivity, VPN access, and Wi‑Fi performance
Resolve basic networking issues (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) and escalate when appropriate
Partner with infrastructure and security teams on recurring issues, root cause analysis, and improvements
Maintain accurate documentation for procedures, configurations, inventory, and incident tracking
Identify opportunities to improve support workflows, tools, and the overall end‑user technology experience
Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management

Required

5–8+ years of experience in desktop or end‑user support
Strong hands‑on experience with Windows 10/11 and macOS
Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook/Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
Strong hands‑on experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, Intune
Strong hands‑on experience with Active Directory (on‑prem and hybrid environments)
Strong hands‑on experience with VPN technologies and core networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
Strong hands‑on experience with endpoint management and security tools
Experience supporting enterprise‑grade AV, conference rooms, and executive meeting spaces
Outstanding customer service mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable supporting senior executives and high‑demand users in time‑sensitive situations
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency
Self‑starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively with remote IT teams
Ability to work onsite in San Francisco, Monday through Friday
Willingness to provide occasional after‑hours support for planned activities or urgent issues
Prior experience in a small, fast‑paced organization where flexibility and initiative are essential

Preferred

financial services or professional services experience strongly preferred
Experience with office relocations (desirable)
