Ensure daily execution of GOLD Member Standards are met and are consistently reinforcing key service behaviors: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA); Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean; and Listen, Apologize, Solve, Thank (LAST) across all areas of the club
Observe Member engagement and department execution to ensure premium shopping experience
Support team in resolving Member issues and delivering satisfaction
Consistently Delivering GOLD Standards in your club
Ensuring club is at plan or better for all Bottom Quartile core KPIs relevant to role
Oversee Recovery, Utility, and Perishable departments (Produce, Meat, Bakery, Deli, Dairy/Freezer) as well as overnight prep to ensure all areas are clean, stocked, and ready for morning open
Actively walk the floor during closing hours to observe execution, engage with Members, and support team performance
Guarantee a Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA) and Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean experience is delivered until the last Member exits the building
Validate that registers remain open, perishable stations are attended, and all service areas are operational through the final Member transaction
Personally resolve or escalate Member concerns during closing to ensure satisfaction and timely service recovery
Monitor evening inventory levels, product rotation, culling, and merchandising execution, with a focus on perishable departments
Confirm completion of daily cleaning checklists, sweep logs, waste pulls, and safety protocols to uphold cleanliness and compliance
Coach Recovery and Utility Clerks to ensure efficient task execution and appropriate zone coverage during closing
Leverage Hot List, NAFS, electronic reports, incorrect price sign reports, pallet tag usage, productivity dashboards, and department-level reporting to validate execution and drive efficiency
Ensure all sanitation, cold chain, and safety checklists are completed daily and documentation is fully compliant with audit standards
Identify and escalate issues with compactors, refrigeration units, and cleaning equipment to avoid disruptions in operations
Reinforce ServSafe, PPE compliance, and department-specific training during onboarding and ongoing development of team members
Actively support bottom quartile departments by ensuring follow-through on action plans and daily execution standards to close performance gaps
Partner with the Closing Manager, Assistant Club Managers, Club Manager, and Department Leads to improve closing routines and enhance the overall member experience
Regularly inspect products for expiration dates and condition, removing any damaged or outdated items to uphold food safety standards
Execute assigned tasks and ensure compliance with company initiatives and product liability protocols
Provide operational support outside primary scope as directed by club leadership
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance and effective equipment use
Demonstrate consistent presence as an essential function of the role to support execution and leadership coverage
Qualification
Required
SERV Safe certification required
Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email) required
Open shift availability required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred
2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations
High school diploma preferred; college degree preferred
