Mechanical Technician
Element Materials Technology is a leading testing, inspection, and certification company with a global presence. They are seeking a Mechanical Technician (Environmental Simulation) to support laboratory testing operations by conducting environmental and dynamics testing activities.

Responsibilities
Setup and run environmental and vibration tests
Set components within test fixtures in environmental simulation chambers in preparation for testing
Data collection/analyzing utilizing control systems, thermocouples and accelerometers
Troubleshooting test set ups
Operate thermal chambers
Qualification
Required
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, relative coursework, projects, internships or related electrical or mechanical testing experience (material, environmental, dynamics/shock/vibe, climatic), or commensurate with other experience
Must be able to operate hand/power tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer skills required, intermediate knowledge level of Microsoft Excel is required
Must work well in a team environment
Attention to detail
Preferred
Experience in environmental or dynamics or testing related to Element a plus
