Zeal Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time Branch Operations Specialist to enhance member experiences and ensure smooth branch operations. The role involves assisting with transactions, training staff, and maintaining compliance, all while promoting a positive member-focused atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Assist with complex transactions, inquiries, and account research
Provide tailored product recommendations while ensuring the smooth operation of the branch
Handle cash management—balancing vaults, ATMs, and teller drawers
Conduct branch audits and maintain compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
Train and mentor Member Service Representatives and specialists
Serve as a subject matter expert on intricate member transactions, such as CDs, IRAs, and consumer lending

Required

3 years of similar or related experience
High school education or GED
Knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, customer service skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to prioritize
Knowledge and/or training, and compliance with Laws and Regulations pertaining to BSA/AML/OFAC and other applicable regulations

Preferred

Experience in branch operations, compliance, or audit functions within a financial institution
Advanced understanding of branch transactional systems, balancing procedures, and complex member service functions
