Client Partnership Manager - West Coast

Responsibilities
Acts as primary point of contact for all strategic and relationship management for clients ensuring resolution and escalation where necessary
In-person meetings with client to review Client Partnership data and foster relationship
Proactively provides consultation around valuable strategies and best practices to increase client satisfaction and improve fleet management
Develops and fosters a deep working relationship with assigned clients by frequently exchanging professional correspondence such as industry trends, fleet cycle strategies, quote calculations, order commitments, fleet best practices and recommendations
Acts as voice of the client to develop data relative to marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing. Solicits and obtains agreement from key decision maker(s) and administrators for participation in the annual client engagement survey and ad-hoc testimonials and case studies
Identifies “decision maker(s)” and others who can influence the decision-making and account maintenance process. Establishes and maintains relationships with these individuals
Analyzes client data to identify key trends and fleet opportunities using client’s data and key benchmarking annual metrics and best practices to tell the story that supports recommendations and actions necessary to optimize the client’s fleet efficiency and positive contribution to their business goals and objectives
Prepares and presents Partnership Review at a minimum once a year with Data & Insights standard reporting, preferably in person
Prepares and presents fleet analysis and recommendations on regular basis (monthly/quarterly)
Assists clients with vehicle specification requirements, model year projections, term and contract recommendations for new vehicle and renewal vehicle orders. Monitors current vehicles on lease to recommend lease extensions and or revisions
Proactively seeks growth and expansion opportunities from clients to achieve portfolio sales and retention targets/goals
Manages requests for nonstandard client report needs and elevates when identified as impactful for prioritization consideration
Consistently monitors client credit approval limits and facilitates financial review with credit team to ensure credit limits align with client growth goals
Introduces and demonstrates, along with internal Subject Matter Experts (SME), new products, services and technology enhancements to clients as needed. Manages product opportunities in Salesforce to give visibility to organization to support new product offerings
Educates clients on fleet management services, including but not limited to, vehicle ordering processes, fleet incentive programs, and Mike Albert’s fleet management portals and tools
Partners with Business Development Manager (BDM) through the sales cycle to achieve specified corporate sales targets. Participates in sales presentation for new prospects tailored to their fleet goals
Acts as quarterback for client with Mike Albert Fleet Solutions (MAFS) internal departments such as Client Support, Onboarding, Structure, and other SMEs to deliver best in class recommendations and guidance to clients
Acts accordingly in a team environment with all MAFS operating units to respond to client requests, investigate client concerns, and drive to resolution
Monitors client activities, cases, and queues working cross functionally to ensure work performed is completed with quality and within Service Level Agreements to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded. Escalates issues as necessary
Monitors survey data including Pulse, Annual Survey and others to determine actions needed to support a positive Client Health Status
Acts as the liaison between existing clients and credit team regarding contractual and credit matters
Is a liaison between client, product team, and product partners to proactively resolve issues
Builds and maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of the fleet and automotive industry and marketplace. Researches the industry by reviewing industry publications, attending trade shows, utilizing internal resources, and developing relationships with regional Original Equipment Manufacturers contacts etc. to identify trends and/or new products
Guides client thru MAFS processes and helps interpret MAFS business documents and reports
Develops strong financial acumen and can effectively consult on acquisition methods and strategies that align with client business and fleet goals and objectives while supporting Mike Albert product and profitability goals
Ensures Salesforce is continually updated with client total fleet potential, client health status and client interactions
Maintains an ongoing working knowledge of the company’s systems and processes
Demonstrates excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years in fleet account management, sales, or related account management experience
Must reside West Coast of US, Texas, California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon
Solution driven; highly creative, with strong problem solving and analytical skills. Able to analyze factors, develop effective sales strategies and stories, anticipate, and exceed client need and close sales
Excellent written/verbal communications skills
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
High energy, self-motivated, driven, collaborative team player
Strong financial and analytical skills
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks while maintaining a calm disposition in pressured situations

Must be able to perform and deliver on objectives in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
Strong computer skills with demonstrated experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce

Ability to travel up to 50%
