Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution or trial
Prepare and argue motions and appear for court conferences
Conduct and defend depositions
Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and motions
Perform legal research and write memoranda or briefs
Provide strategic counsel to clients in municipal and school district defense matters
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in New York State
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Preferred
Experience in insurance defense
Experience in premises liability
Experience in motor vehicle liability
Experience in labor law
Experience in personal injury
Experience in civil litigation
Trial experience
