Responsibilities

Executing all aspects of residential loan remittance processing

Funding conventional and simple residential first and second mortgage loans

Funding home equity lines of credit

Ensuring that loans are funded accurately, timely, and in full compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and investor requirements

Ensuring the integrity and completeness of all loan funding activities

Qualification

Mortgage banking experienceAccounting skillsWord processing applicationsSpreadsheet applicationsAnalytical problem solvingEffective communicationOrganizational skillsDetail oriented

Required

Associate's degree in business, accounting, related field, or equivalent work experience required

Working knowledge of personal computers

Ability to work with word processing and spreadsheet applications is essential

Must be organized and detail oriented

Must be able to work under pressure and able to meet deadlines

Must be analytical in approach to problem solving, able to logically organize and resolve issues

Effective written and oral communication skills

Strong accounting & bookkeeping skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred

1 year of experience in mortgage banking or accounting preferred
