Responsibilities

Assist project management as appropriate and provide task-oriented supervision to subordinate staff

Provide expert analysis of complex engineering-related problems

Design S/W architectures for overall systems

Manage the technical and/or administrative aspects of a project

Prepare technical reports identifying results of technical studies and makes recommendations on appropriate actions to take

Interface with customers including presentations of software designs at customer reviews

Ability to lead teams of 5-10 S/W developers in support of projects through all phases of projects including requirements analysis, design, development and test

Review work of subordinate personnel; provide guidance and training where appropriate

Provide technical input and budget for S/W tasks in proposal efforts
