Civil Engineer with PE License (NJ/PA)

Talentsearchpro is a well-established environmental consulting firm headquartered in Reading, PA. They are seeking a Civil Engineer with a PE License to manage high-impact environmental projects, conduct field inspections, and prepare regulatory permit applications.

Responsibilities

Support projects in environmental protection, wastewater, and stormwater management
Conduct field inspections and provide project oversight
Prepare NPDES and other regulatory permit applications
Create design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D for site layouts, roadways, utilities, grading, and stormwater systems
Work on civil infrastructure, landfill, stormwater, and wastewater projects
Manage budgets, schedules, and assist with diverse land development and erosion control projects (residential, commercial, industrial, institutional)
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and similar tools
Collaborate with project managers, design leads, and CAD teams to maintain technical standards
Provide technical solutions, evaluate alternatives, and engage in client interaction
Balance office work (70%) and fieldwork (30%), primarily within PA, NJ, and NY

Required

Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey Professional Engineering License
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
6+ years of experience in environmental/civil engineering with emphasis on Civil infrastructure & site development
Landfill design/construction
Stormwater and wastewater management
Familiarity with PADEP & NJDEP permitting for stormwater, soil erosion, and site planning
Experience with hydrology/hydraulics modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS)
Working knowledge of PA & NJ Stormwater BMP Manuals, PennDOT, and PA Code Chapter 105 or NJDEP Division of Land Resource Protection permits
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally

Preferred

Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
