Sr. Director of Human Resources

Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies that integrate trauma-informed principles,that foster a collaborative, and purpose-driven culture
Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management
Deliver HR services with responsiveness, empathy, and commitment to excellence for internal stakeholders. Embrace

Collaborate and interact with the Board of Directors as part of the Risk Compensation and Outcomes committee
Design and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract top talent aligned with the organization’s purpose and values
Partner with leadership to forecast staffing needs and ensure timely, high-quality hires
Develop retention programs that enhance employee engagement, career development, and organizational loyalty
Analyze turnover trends and implement proactive measures to reduce attrition and strengthen workforce stability
Own the HR technology stack and lead the rollout and optimization of technology platforms to streamline processes and enhance employee experience
Champion automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual administrative tasks
Establish and enforce standardized HR processes aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as contracts and grant specific regulations and requirements
Oversee processes for pre-employment clearances and ongoing compliance
Implement HR dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnover, time-to-fill, engagement, and diversity of

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior-level role
Expertise in HR technology platforms, process improvement, and compliance
Strong analytical skills with experience managing HR metrics and KPIs
Proven project and program management skills, including the use of project management technology platforms
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust and influence at all levels
