Sr. Director, Business Unit Finance

They are seeking a Senior Director of Finance who will play a key role in enhancing growth, profitability, and long-term value creation for the Chromatography Resins & Proteins Business Unit.

Responsibilities

Partner with the BU VP & General Manager to scale a fast growing, profitable segment of the company
Partner with product line leaders to challenge current business assumptions and drive initiatives to further expand profitability and sales growth
Influence decision-making to prioritize long-term value creation by the BU
Own the monthly reporting package and work with stakeholders to constantly improve management’s access to relevant financial data
Lead the forecast, budget, and strategic planning processes for the BU
Work with Product Management to establish KPIs and operating mechanisms to guide decision making and strategic investments
Lead the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) financial presentation materials and present to senior management
Work with the Sales Operations team to enhance reporting, predictive analytics, and actionable insights for our leadership team
Partner with R&D to support new product introductions
Collaborate across departments (Operations, Sales, Product Management, R&D, etc.) to provide support, identify key trends and issues, resolve challenges, and implement process improvements
Partner with the Business Development team on M&A activities, as required
Partner with the VP of FP&A to evolve our finance processes to be more effective & efficient
Ad-hoc financial analysis and analytical modeling, as required

Required

Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting
10 - 15 + years of relevant financial leadership experience in a complex, multinational, multi-site manufacturing & product development environment
Strong professional communication and facilitation skills across all levels of management & staff
Demonstrated focus on being able to translate complex data & metrics into simple and actionable value-added business insight
Proven ability to identify, lead and drive process improvements on a global scale
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large sets of data
